The event featured the compelling UN Photo Exhibit which celebrates the UN’s first home at Lake Success (1946-1951) and work since then. It adorns the hallways at a privately-owned medical arts building.  It was created in 2006 by owner Mrs. Grace Goldberg and David and Jeanne Betsock Stillman (Westchester Chapter).  The Division rededicated the Exhibit and renamed it the Goldberg United Nations Photo Exhibit.

Dr. Peter De Bartolo and Dr. Della Hudson of Adelphi University spoke about Adelphi’s international programs and their work as a UN NGO.   Adelphi planned to hold its own large UN Day event on October 25.
